presents the reader with a moral and/or lesson. The title itself suggests what that moral/lesson may well be, in that it suggests that cleaning ones space is an important lesson
to learn. The following paper analyzes and critiques Sadus book in relationship to its moral/lesson. The Moral/Lesson As mentioned in the introduction, the lesson or moral of this particular
childrens story is one that involves taking care of ones own space, and keeping clean to a certain extent. This does not mean that the story urges a child to
be immaculate, but it does illustrate that no matter how good a person is, no matter how many good things they do for others, they must still think about things
like their health. Christopher was not a boy who thought about the state of his room from a healthy perspective. The story goes that Christopher is a very nice
boy who does a great deal of actual community work it seems as he is a good neighbor and he shares with his friends. He is a good student and
athlete as well. Everything we see tells us that Christopher is a very nice and kind young man who thinks of others and does well in his community. However, Christopher
will not clean his room, no matter how much he is told to do so. The room gets so out of hand that the two goldfish he owns begin to
fear for their health. They know that they may well die if Christopher does not do something and clean his room. This brings in the most important element relating to
the moral or lesson of the story and that is humor in a fantasy setting. The fish are fantasy creatures in that they can communicate and communicate with cockroaches as
