In response to these emotional and spiritual needs, more and more people are turning to the East for answers to lifes most profound questions. In his book Islam to East and West, author Khwaja Kamal-Ud-Din presents a powerful argument for the superiority of Islamic belief. Kamal-Ud-Din takes an approach that is logical and comprehensive as he examines the history and cultures that gave rise to the worlds great religions. His work examines the philosophical and cultural parameters that are intrinsic to the nature and development of religious belief. In so doing, Kamal-Ud-Din provides insight into the fundamental requirements of religious faith within the context of individual experience. This is something that Kamal-Ud-Din succeeds at quite brilliantly, so his work has an appeal that reaches beyond the Islamic world and speaks to those outside the context of Islamic culture who are searching for religious truth in a modern world. Quite logically, Kamal-Ud-Din demonstrates, among other points, that Islam has, over the centuries, continued to spread its influence over a larger and larger geographical area.
