paper arguing in favor of easing restrictions against increased numbers of high-tech workers
immigrating from other countries to the US. Increasing pressures in the high-tech labor
market result in requirements for more workers than are available, but visa restrictions return
many experienced workers to their home countries each year. This represents a loss not only
to the organizations sponsoring these workers, but also to the communities in which they live.
Continuing immigration restrictions is a loss to all involved - the immigrants themselves, their
