are seen can be divided into a number of different areas. Styles are always changing, with the importance attached to the appearance of a building often needing to compromise with
the functionally. It is in the design that the most notable changes have occurred. This should not be surprising. In any town or city it is possible to walk around
and identify the period of each building due to the style and materials that are used in its construction. During the twentieth century it is usually possible to put the
dating down to a specific decade. The styles changed and reflected the fashions of the time, the high Scandinavian style roofs of the 1970 and wood times were matching internal
fashions of long shag pile carpets, flared trousers and kipper ties. Just as the smaller starter homes of the 12990s reflect the economic conditions where house prices were high and
many people stepping on the property ladder were unable to afford anything that took up a lot of land, therefore, innovation and cleaver use of space became more important, such
