COGNITION BASED ON DIFFERENT AGE GROUPS Children learn classroom skills such as spelling and math which helps them develop cognition; however children learn much faster if they are given the chance to have hands-on experiences in which they can make attempts to reach a goal using different methods available to them. Through trial and error the cognitive ability of a child is more well-rounded and they learn to think in a more logical manner. Students are like sponges in that they soak up knowledge when placed in the right setting. Incorporating all the senses is an educational philosophy all teachers should adopt; yet not all instructors are experienced enough themselves to be able to lead their students through such an intense journey.
