Introduction Nudity has been perceived in a juxtaposition throughout the centuries, dependant upon the context the nudity may be seen as acceptable and artistic or may be argued as inappropriate and representing the seedier side of society. The use of nudity may be argued as viable and attractive to marketers for a number of reasons, it may attract voyeurs, there could be a shock value, the form may be seen as attractive and desirable or the form and context of the image may convey a message that marketer wants to send such as seediness.
