his/her own choosing? It appears as though this is the case. Are the connections between the writers title and the papers thesis obvious? Yes. In what seems to
be the introduction there is a clear indication, at the end of the introduction that mentions the shadow specifically, what the shadow is. How are these connections accomplished? This
is done through mentioning the bad aspects of the promotion and then using the word shadow. Does the paper give the necessary information about the authors and titles of
the synthesized works? Yes, the writer only cites one source and makes it clear what that work is. The Point: Find the papers claim (thesis). Does it clearly fit
the synthesis assignment? Without k knowledge of the assignment given the student, and working on synthesis and a connection in the thesis, the answer seems to be yes.
Is the claim (thesis) clearly stated? Yes, that being how the promotion brought out the shadow. Is the claim limited appropriately or too general? The claim seems appropriately limited.
Does it control/focus the material presented in the rest of the essay? For the most part, yes. But, at the same time there seems to be too much information
