environment and good intentions, but if the economy sours or there is a shakeup in the industry, the individual company will not fare well. In the banking industry, one can
say that things are rather mundane historically. At the same time, banking has endured a great deal of changes in recent years from rate changes, to having to cope with
environments that are quite volatile. Asia is a particularly volatile region of which HSBC is entrenched. Still, without all of its eggs in one basket, HSBC has fared well. Despite
some hits due to the economy, the bank seems to have weathered some storms and will go on to flourish. II. HSBC Bank HSBC Holdings is London-based and
