The purpose here is to explain our position. Individual Learners The student could approach this section in the following way: We all know that there are only a few distinct learning styles and that individuals typically fall mostly into one primary style or another. As practitioners, we also know that only the rare regular-education student will be a 100 percent visual learner or 100 percent aural learner, but that most will favor one style while also employing other approaches. As a box with a screen display, the computer overwhelmingly favors the visual learner. As long as the individual can read, it makes little if any difference how the information is presented, whether it is plain text on a white background or whether it is filled with enticing visual images in full, blazing color.
