Ahmed; Ray V. Montagno there is a different approach right form the beginning. In any Article there will be an introduction, this will have hooks to capture the readers interest,
however, in reading the academic article there is the need to start remembering issues right from the beginning, this slows down the reading process as there is a higher level
of internal processing taking place at the beginning, being aware that this information will be important later in the article. There is more content to take in, and noticing
aspects such as the citation that are provided in the text and the year are also relevant, as this may also indicate if the article is really up to date.
The reading speed is slower, but the tactic is also different, the words are read aloud in the head, this is still faster than reading out loud, but helps to
retain the information and also to place the information read in the context of that already taken in. The reading also requires breaks to be taken, only a few
seconds but also a break to get a drink. This may be due to the level of information being taken in, but without these short breaks, looking up and thinking,
what is read beyond these short breaks is difficult to process. The academic article read in this exercise is helpful in the way it is written. Whilst there is
