                                                    as sound as it appears. Goldman may have acted unethically, in my opinion, but not illegally, and that is the general belief of most on Wall Street. Hedging is normal  
                                                
                                                    business practice on Wall Street, and while this particular hedge fund may have been wrongly guided by Goldman by allowing this particular hedge fund manager to pull the portfolio together,  
                                                
                                                    that doesnt make the creation of the portfolio an illegal act. Yes, it may have been an aggressive fund for hedging funds against the bubble mortgage market in 2007, but  
                                                
                                                    as Goldman said, no one can predict the actual outcome of the market, and the creation and selling of the document to investors is normal business practice.
