Either a company finds a way to make a profit and to sustain those profit margins over a period of years, or they are absorbed into the economy by other companies. Most times the changes which need to be implemented include such aspects of changed leadership styles, or the embrace of a new organizational theory. ORGANIZATIONAL THEORIES/LEADERSHIP STYLES UTILIZED Sometimes it is simpler to discover the problems than it is to actually solve them. The internal politics of a certain mental health agency would have many underlying facets and factors which would have to be addressed. One must first diagnose the institution much like a physician analyzes and diagnoses a patient. First, one must start at the top. One of the obvious problems that can be seen in many mental health institutions which are privately owned, is that the owner has no idea what is going on at the agency. The payroll is just barely meeting the salaries of the workers, and as a result many short cuts may have been taken in order to save money.
