are sodomized by their relatives and teenage girls are forced into violent sexual submissions by their friends. Echoing the cries of these victims are mirror-like images of themselves in some
of the filthiest, most taboo pornography ever to hit these streets of these United States. To many citizens the horirifc crimes jsut described bear no relation or semblance to
pornorgrahy whatsoever. To them pornography is an "art" form; unrelated to the sins of rape and molestation. But the opposition maintains strongly that pornography actulaly cuases much of
the violence associted with these crimes and therefore can not be allowed to go on. To them, getting rid of sick, despicable sex crimes requires getting rid of pornography.
But even the most curosry societal glance incitesthe followign hyptohses : Realizing that all walks of life and all classes of citiznes enjoy pornography, does it then logically follow
that we all capable of sex crimes ? Does porngoraphy really lead to violent crimss ? In this study I shall examine the (1) the research discussing actual cuasal factors
of sex cimss and their relelvnace to pornograhy and (2) the demographics concerning what tpye of people actually suuport legal pornograhy to gain some better testing insight into the thesis
