In order to look at project management in more detail the a project management mode can be applied. For this we can look at the development of the CHAOS ten requirements, which was developed in 1994 and has since been updated. This is a list of elements that should be present in project management so may be seen as one list of key factors when defining what should be included in any condition of project management. It is also accepted that the failure of one element will not mean there will be inevitable failure. Therefore these are important elements that should be present. However these different elements require different inputs to achieve their role in the project. By looking at these they include a range of stakeholders in order for the project to be successful. The first is that any project should have executive support, this is seen as the most important as it is the most common source of failure and reflect the internal stakeholder needs (Johnson et al, 2001).
