                                                    become the most powerful leader in the nation. He was born in 1809 in Kentucky (Cybernation.com). At a very early age he had to work to help the family out  
                                                
                                                    and he really only had one year of formal education in his childhood (Cybernation.com). He essentially educated himself, reading and learning as best he could while helping out his family.  
                                                
                                                    This self education would eventually lead to his profession as a lawyer. 		These very humble beginnings illustrate just one reason why he is considered to have been so influential. Here  
                                                
                                                    was a man who came from nothing, a man who had no heritage that would link him to politics, no money or chance for education. He was self taught and  
                                                
                                                    knew what it was to suffer and be poor and yet he was humble and quiet. In these aspects he touched the soul of the American people, reflecting something of
