Authority, Structure and Organization There will be many different people and departments involved with the implementation of changes which will help to reduce the fall rate of agency patients. Looking at the different positions within the organization starting at the top the different roles may be outlined. Board of directors The board of directors will be made up of both medial and non medical professionals. The decision to implement the plan will ultimately be made by the board of directors based on the professional advice they receive in the proposal and advice sought regarding the plan, this will include the advice from the relevant board members with medical knowledge. The board will make the decision based on medical input, but will also consider the way the plan may fit in with any relevant regulation or legislation an the economic feasibility of the plan. A major role of the board will be to make the decision, to ensure that there are sufficient resources made available for the plan to be implemented and to demonstrate support.
