                                                    its fundamental issues, it can face the challenges ahead and come out very well. 	In looking at the population of Chile, a good comparison is that of the United States.  
                                                
                                                    Obviously, the U.S. is an example of the ideal where there is a sense of abundance and children do not die young very often. In third world countries that is  
                                                
                                                    not the case.  In Chile, there are 16.8 per 1,000 ("Map of Chile" PG). The equivalent in the United States is 14.1 ("United" PG). This means that the average  
                                                
                                                    amount of children per person in Chile is more than what exists in the United States. It might not seem like a very big difference, but for a country that  
                                                
                                                    cannot afford to support its young, it can be significant. There are many more children born in Chile, something that could in part contribute to poor economic conditions. One can  
                                                
                                                    see this affecting agriculture as there is more of a demand for food products and it will also effect the economy, industry, employment and all things related to finance and  
                                                
                                                    business. Further, women will need essential services. There is certainly a problem with women needing formula for their babies. There is an effort to encourage women of third world countries
