a treadmill test.1 As Americans have become more sedentary, in all age groups, they are consequently becoming less fit and able to perform physical activities. Mercedes Carnethon, the leader of the study and who is from of Northwestern University, said: "Individuals with poor fitness are at markedly higher rate of dying. We should be very concerned about this."2 Carnethon also reported that that the people who scored the lowest on the treadmill test already had high blood pressure, a major risk factor for any number of fatal diseases.3 We also know that family history as well as lifestyle habits play major roles in people getting certain conditions and diseases. Among those are high blood pressure, heart disease, strokes, alcohol or drug addiction, and poor eating habits. Given the rate of fatal heart attacks in this country among both men and women, it would seem that everyone should submit to health assessment analyses. This is the topic of this paper. The writer completed specific health analysis questionnaires focusing on certain conditions or illnesses. In other cases, the writer reviewed studies related to specific diseases and conditions to determine level of risk. Following the analysis, the writer presents an action plan to improve those areas where improvement was indicated.
