Notes Jewish doctrine in regard to contemporary women's issues such as vary considerably even within the more progressive countries such as the United States. Addresses whether feminism is good for Judaism overall and, in contrast, the role that Orthodox Judaism has in a modern world. Concludes that the answer to these questions is an answer which will be derived not by men but by women working as equals to men in what was once a male dominated tradition.
