Jesus Christ is both God and man. That premise is reinforced repeatedly in Pauls Epistles (Maas, 1912). Paul argues consistently for the real humanity of Christ as well as His
Divinity (Maas, 1912). Paul said Our Lord "appeared in a body" (1 Timothy 3:16); "Christs physical body" (Colossians 1:22); "born of a woman, born under law" (Galatians 4:4); and "was
a descendant of David"; (Romans 1:3). Paul says that Jesus differed in humanity from the rest of humans in only two ways: He was sinless: "God made him who had
no sin" (2 Corinthians 5:21) and Jesus was the second Adam representing the human race: "The first man Adam became a living being"; the last Adam, a life-giving spirit. The
spiritual did not come first, but the natural, and after that the spiritual. The first man was of the dust of the earth, the second man from heaven. As was
