they dont schedule their time properly. This paper uses a students information about his current activities to help devise a schedule that will make him more productive. Discussion We have
a situation in which a person goes to school and works as well. This person works Saturdays, Sundays and Wednesdays from 12 until 9; and goes to school five days
a week, from approximately 9.30 a.m. to noon each day. He also does chores around the house, watches TV, plays in a band, and does homework, which seems rather far
down on the list. He also reveals that "social interaction" is important to him and that he engages in it four out of five days; the only day hes not
with his friends appears to be Wednesday. Between work and schoolwork, his weekends are tied up. The first thing that strikes a neutral observer about this schedule is that theres
way too much time devoted to "social interaction" which we will assume means sports, playing in a band, and watching television. Its also apparently one of his duties to do
the chores hes assigned around the house. His housework and extracurricular activities appear to be far more important to him than schoolwork, and yet if he doesnt get his homework
done his grades are likely to suffer, with the result that he will either not get as good a job as he might desire, or he will have a narrower
range of universities to choose from, if he decides to take his education further. He may be one of those lucky people who can do no homework and still turn
in superior work, but he doesnt indicate that, so well assume that he has to work for his grades, like most of us. What we have, then, is someone who
