This is true. If one thinks about this topic fully, it is obvious that telephone communications have opened doors for people and this is something that should not be taken for granted. They simply pick up the phone and are immediately connected to a far away relative or friend. The communications possibilities are enormous and this has only been accomplished with a variety of new innovations from fiber optics to computer programming innovations. Voice technology is key to understanding the strides made in this niche. This is true even though the new wave of technology is focused on video imagining. While voice technology has been around for some time, and video innovations are rather new and unique, voice has come a long way in terms of how it is transmitted and should be acknowledged. Simple voice communication systems have evolved to become sophisticated multimedia communications platforms which have been created to deliver a wide range of telephony services (Rybczynski, 1999).
