This is as true in Canada as well as in any other nation. Yet, when it comes to the relationship between politics and public policy administration, it seems that Canada had fallen victim to temptation in the realm of global trade. Many theorists seem to think that this is problematic. II. The Relationship Between Politics and Public Administration in Canada Brodhead (2003) gives an example and explains that the antiterrorist Bill C-36 was one policy decision in Canada that had been under attack. The law was challenged and one of the organizers explained that is was rather extraordinary to think that one is a part of the democratic process (2003). Indeed, it is thought that citizens should engage in policy debate (2003). The author emphasizes this point. The fact that this does not often occur demonstrates that the relationship between politics and public administration includes a veil of options, but really goes to the whether or not a candidates is electable. In other words, candidates support policy that will provide them with another chance to hold office. One may say that such practices are corrupt. Still, this is not the case all the time and there are politicians who actually try to effect good policy and are successful at it. Of course, there is again an important balance between government action and implementing what the people want into official policy.
