Many people do not have the problem of finding a school abroad, but for these families that find themselves living away, school can be challenging. Finding the right school is in fact not always easy and while people need not homeschool-as there are international schools available-it is also true that language and culture does sometimes become difficult. The student who is not proficient in English, but wants to attend an international school where subjects are taught in English, could indeed benefit from ESL help. ESL instruction is something that has become quite controversial and political, particularly in the United States. However, as international institutions go, multiculturalism is supported and in fact a part of the point of having such schools to begin with. In effect, some people vie for these alternative schools in order to expose youth to different cultures. This is particularly desirable for the upper crust. These international schools serve the needs of the international community, the business mogul, the children who find themselves living abroad and a number of new clientele. In other words, the population that looks for these institutions is growing. International schools help to meet the demands that society dishes out, and cultural demands as well. This is becoming increasingly more significant as the world becomes entrenched in different cultures. People around the world often favor English, much to the chagrin of activists and people who do not know the language. Why should English be the right way to speak?
