to ascertain what the truth, and who is truly the best candidate for the most important office in the land. Presidential politics is one of the biggest topics of
discussion, particularly the upcoming Presidential Primaries. In the McCain - Bush contest, the South Carolina primary is the next big hurtle for the
Republican candidates. Some of the people will vote for John McCain because of his military prowess. John McCain spent years in the Hanoi Hilton, a particularly harsh prisoner
of war camp in North Vietnam. Many people consider a man who could have come through a POW camp and go on to further serve his country an excellent
candidate because of his ability to fight adversity. The leader of the nation must also be Commander-in-Chief of the armed forces. Not only did John McCain fight adversity,
he was an officer in the military. George W. Bush asserts himself as a leader because he already is in the
position of governor. George W. Bush also uses his relationship as the son of a former president to push the concept that another Bush should be president. Those
