                                                    on position and number of years in the leagues. The scale for the 2005/6 season saw a minimum salary of $3,617,100 for the player in the number 1 pick position  
                                                
                                                    in their first year as a rookie, for the first year rookies who is in the 30th position this falls to $717,800 (Inside Hoops, 2005) 	There have been increases negotiated
