Objectivess The main object of this paper is to demonstrate how pornography presents an ethical dilemma and dichotomy
between those who would support morality by banning pornography, and those who would encourage freedom of expression, even if that freedom appears obscene and immoral by societal standards. As
a result, this paper considers a number of important points, including the way in which pornography can be promoted as an erotic art form, the claims that pornography should be
protected as a component of freedom of expression, and the claims of breaches of morality that stem from the argument that pornography is an exploitive and degrading practice.
In addressing this problem, the historical context of pornography is presented, along with information regarding the claims mentioned above and factors are
supported by the progression of the current literature. Recognizing the existing arguments and the importance of these arguments is central to creating a well-rounded perspective on this complex ethical
