One of the most significant issues that comes to light when considering asssessments is that individual emotional reactions and individual perceptions are impacted by different people in different ways. In other words, it can be argued that personality traits based on the different personality types can impact human reactions and can influence responses in the therapuetic setting. Any psychological analysis should include an understanding of personality and perspective, as well as a view on the integration of imagery, relaxation, goal setting the attention control, all of which define how a person responds and what their basis is for psychological health and well-being. At the same time, defining the way in which socialization, or social learning, has influenced individual development also plays a significant role in shaping the view of the individual. A psychological analysis should include a view of the present psychological perspective, including an understanding of personality and the coping mechanisms that are put in place to address issues like stress; and past psychological development, including socialization, traumatic experiences, and past mental health status, all of which provide some insight into the overall view of the individual. One of the most substantive psychological perspectives can be understood through as an extension of Kellys Personal Construct Theory, which suggests that individuals sometimes demonstrate an ability to create different patterns of behavior and different interactions in order to "reshape" their perspective on the world. The concentration on elements of certain experiences in the development of future psychological responses is evidenced in the application of Kellys theory and the notion that individuals can justify or support their actions by reshaping the necessary elements of reality.
