To accomplish these goals, the researcher will utilize a quantitative methodology based on a banking satisfaction survey conducted of male and female customers between the ages of 30 and 50. This population was selected because it is the generation most likely to utilize banking services frequently (Matilla, 2003). The following provides information about the parameters for the study: Customer satisfaction with online banking will vary depending gender, age (less than 40, greater than or equal to 40), and/or education level (less than a high school degree, high school degree, greater than a high school degree). * The sample will be made up of a population of banking customers between the ages of 30 years and 50 years who have used online banking services. * Statistics will be analyzed with the use of moderated multiple regression analysis. Because of the different demographic variables that will be assessed, it is likely that more than one variable may interact in relation to customer satisfaction levels (Beck, Demirguc-Kunt & Peria, 2007). For example, individuals of higher education levels who are older may demonstrate greater confidence and satisfaction in online banking services than younger respondents with lower education levels. * The dependent variable for this study is level of customer satisfaction, which is measured by factors that include the convenience of services, perceived usefulness (Pikkarainen, Pikkarainen, Karjaluoto & Pahnila, 2004), acceptance of online banking technology (Lassar, Manolis & Lassar, 2005), and trust in the online system (Howcroft et al., 2002). * The independent variable for this study is the level of banking innovation, particularly the level of online banking services being offered and the relationship ...
