                                                    understanding of reality (Morgan 1998).    ABSTRACT 	Because of the problems man has created in the environment there are so many endangered species that we cannot begin to  
                                                
                                                    salvage all of them.  There are many different theories on what should be done to control the loss of these various species, but how do we come to agree  
                                                
                                                    on one that is the best?  "In environmental ethics, pluralism offers the hope of reconciling various rival theories, even if none of them is universally applicable" (Brennan 15, 1992).  
                                                
                                                    This explanation helps us to understand that while there is no single right way to save the endangered species, by agreeing to several different methods that perhaps we can all  
                                                
                                                    come together on solutions that are satisfactory to everybody.  This is one of the advantages to moral pluralism.  There need not be one single answer that is the  
                                                
                                                    only correct answer.  There are many different theories on how to stop the loss of endangered species, but of course no one way is the best way.  For
