It is a full service company that allows its health care customers to fully outsource its entire benefits administration function. Objectives Members Advantage has several goals, but at present its two primary objectives are: * Increase revenue growth through increased market share * Open additional offices in other markets The Situation Currently Members Advantage is a single-location business in an area where there is a relatively high number of small businesses that the company could serve well. Very large businesses gain the greatest attention because of the large number of jobs they supply in the local area in which they operate and throughout the country, but small business is responsible for providing the greatest number of jobs in the country and health care is the fastest-growing industry in the US economy. There are potential customers in any community of any size, whether there are large businesses present in the area or not. The presence of large businesses can translate to a greater number of small ones that Members Advantage seeks to serve, but there is no lack of potential customers in any thriving local economy. Every business regardless of industry is obliged to operate in the most efficient manner possible in todays hypercompetitive, price-pressured business environment.
