and good looks to gain the trust of women, and then viciously killed them, moving on to the next victim as he traveled the country. He is also known as
the Cross Country Killer. In the following paper we examine aspects of his profile. The paper begins with his crimes and appearance, then moves into his profile and techniques as
a killer. The paper ends with a discussion of offender profiling as it applies to Rogers. Crime and Appearance Rogers crimes are crimes of murder, for he
is a serial killer. As mentioned, he is clearly suspected of killing at least five women and he has himself reported that he has killed over 70 women. He aimed
at killing women, taking advantage of their more easily victimized position in society. He was said to have been very well groomed and handsome, as well as large: "Six feet
tall, 185 pounds, with limpid blue eyes and carefully groomed blond hair, beard. and mustache" he used his gentle good looks and his size to gain the attention of women
