The hospitality industry is one of the best industries to use as an example. Just as a customer can go to any business that offers the same products as yours, a customer can choose any hotel to stay in as many of them offer all the same amenities. So in this very difficult and competitive hospitality business, how do hotels cope with winning customer loyalty in order to make sure the hotel down the street doesnt take their business?
