1. Introduction From the first days of the internet there was a basic realisation of the enabling
technology this could be. The potential in terms of e-commerce may not have been fully realised at the time, but today with mobile wireless technology and increasing cultural acceptance and
expectation has also driven the development of the technology. The development of wireless networking and the integration with mobile or cellular telephones increased freedom with the development of third
generation technology has also driven the use and expansion forward. The technology seen in many countries has been that of WAP. Wireless Application Protocol (WAP) has been the dominant model
