nerves, tendons, joints, cartilage, and spinal disks" (Nordin, Gunnar & Hope, 2006, 309). MSDs are in part associated with computer related injuries. Yet, injuries go beyond MSDs. An
article on this topic provides the following synopsis: "A few of the health problems that the computer has brought in its wake include Repetitive Strain Injury (RSI), Work Related Upper
Limb Disorder (WRULD), Musculoskeletal Disorder (MSD), fatigue, migraine headaches and eye strain" ("Computer Related Injuries," 2010). Sometimes, it is difficult to tell whether or not an ache or pain is
related to computer use. Yet, it is clear that the cluster of symptoms are often related to a physical, and not a psychological, problem ("Computer Related Injuries," 2010). Sitting and
working in one place for a long period of time may create stiffness in muscles and joints ("Computer Related Injuries," 2010). This is true in other occupations as well. However,
a computer user such as a writer, a call center operator or a computer programmer, will often experience the same troubling symptoms. How might one tell if a condition
is work-related? In determining whether or not an MSD is related to work, it is important to examine the patients history, provide a complete medical examination, and examine factors both
on the job, and in personal life, that may contribute to the MSD ("Frequently Asked Questions," n.d.). What might be done about the situation? If it is deemed that certain
