Essay / Research Paper Abstract
This is a 3 page paper discussing Canadian business and the natural environment. The core of Canada’s natural and environmental resource industries are considered to be forestry, mining, agriculture, energy and fishing and in addition to promoting international trade and business, many industries which are natural-resource based are also involved in sustainable development which maintains and develops the growth of these industries while sustaining a healthy environment. There are several dimensions to Canadian business and the natural environment most of which involve the exploration, development and study of the natural and environmental resources while contributing to the understanding of the environment in the process. Canadian businesses involved in the natural environment include those which are government affiliated, those which are non-government organizations in additional to private, national and international corporations. In addition, there are many Canadian businesses which are not directly related to the environmental resource industries but have formed alliances and commitment to factors related to environmental concerns.
