of the business. The paper will also outline the vision for the business and the philosophy under which it will be set in and the benefits it will bring to
both the business owner and the clients. The business owner has a long and well respected career in child care as well as being a parent and has many references
showing the level of skill, experience and dedication they will bring to this business. 2. The Need Day care is an increasingly important service, the need for day care facilities
has been increasing since 1972 (Caldwell, 1987). The old traditional model of the nuclear family where the father works and the mother stays at home is outdated. In most family
homes where there are two parents the economic reality is that both parents need to work. Texas is the state with the second largest population, there are also large levels
of poverty with a high proportion of immigrants. The need for day care is reflected by the 11,000 day care centres and 13,000 day care home based businesses that exist
