In the end, the study used one hundred and five respondents who held two jobs with two different supervisors. Questions were presented in three different areas, the first being demographics, the second pertaining to each job environment, the third about the respondents background with self-esteem and aggression (Inness et al, 2005). Respondent statistics include seventy-eight women, twenty-seven men, average age of thirty-seven years old, educational span from high school to doctorate and an expected correlation between primary and secondary jobs with regard to length of employment, plans to remain in said job and wage. All respondents noted that more time was spent at their first job than the supplemental one (Inness et al, 2005). Reaction to results/findings, which indicate workplace aggression is related to what happens in that environment rather than what occurs outside of it, is focused upon how actual leadership attributes are inherent features of a persons overall composition. In other words, some people are naturally better equipped to lead than others are; however, even this assertion has its limitations, inasmuch as an individual may be a good supervisor in one situational environment but wholly lack the ability in another. Findings indicate how the primary job brings about a greater incidence of aggression due to the combined factors of the individuals longer physical presence over the time spent at the secondary job and the situational elements that transpire during this time frame.
