("Analyzing," 2004). In the case at hand, it turns out that thirty white members were admitted but no African Americans went on board (2004). Hispanics were not joining either (2004).
The EEOC would file a lawsuit to go against the union as it claims that the union did discriminate against certain races and ethnicities and violates Title VII (2004).
It was on appeal that the court found the unions policy was not lawful as it was equivalent to a disparate impact on the African American community as well
as on the Hispanic community ("Analyzing," 2004). Other facts of the case demonstrate that these groups did constitute a good number of workers who were a part of the
