SYNOPSIS This tense thriller is about the chase for a serial killer that is using the seven deadly sins as his modus operandi. There are two detectives who are tracking the killer and one of them is about to retire, while one of them is brand new on the job. The student might want to elaborate on this synopsis depending on whether it is called for in the assignment. ANALYSIS OF THE MOVIE (The student will need to include any quotes or sources from the course textbook since we do not have access to that). In summarizing the main character, the John Doe of the movie who is the mysterious killer using the seven deadly sins as his modus operandi, he is quoted as saying "We see a deadly sin on every street corner, in every home, and we tolerate it. We tolerate it because its common, its trival. We tolerate it morning, noon, and night. Well, not anymore. Im setting the example. And what Ive done is going to be puzzled over, and studied, and followed... forever" (Sevenmovie PG). This quote is an excellent example of explanatory communication.
