however, the second bomb that fell upon Nagasaki symbolized the ongoing strength and power that the United States was determined to uphold. The devastation that took place on account
of this particular war was insurmountable, which left it up to the mightiest of all forces to put an end to its continuation. In addition, it was also important
that America clearly demonstrate the fact that it was not going to tolerate anything like this battle again, finding itself compelled to drill this fact home to the Japanese.
