his disciples. I think this would be important on so many levels. First, regardless of ones religious outlook, there can be little doubt that Christ was an inspired
man. His messages of love, peace, kindness and altruism offer us all models of achievement. Going back to the
time of Jesus is particularly significant in todays world. We truly live in a global time, where borders and boundaries are being removed daily, but clearly there remain resentments,
hatred, and fear based upon the removal of such borders. Our world is one that tends to think egocentrically, as if our own ideals and our own beliefs are
supreme. Interestingly, I dont think Christ preached this message at all. While it is entirely plausible to assert that a roomful of people comprised of Christians, Jews, Hindus,
Muslims and more would likely kill each other over ideological differences, I believe that Christ himself would have expressed love for all, and this to me represents all that religion
is supposed to be. I believe that Christ had extraordinary insight and in this way had much to teach. What is
perhaps even more interesting, is that he managed to connect to everyone. His stories and parables could be understood on the most basic of levels for children and those
taking everything at face value, while they also held vast content for the most advanced theologians. His words expressed the most universal of messages, and offered insight into the
