Sex Industry One of the most prevalent types of work in the sex industry is dancers, or strippers. There are a wide variety of dance clubs that have strippers and the clubs vary in what is offered. For example, some places do not allow for actually stripping of the dancers, others regulate how much can be taken off, some allow lap dances, and others will offer almost anything, under the table. There are dancers who are considered classier than others, presenting themselves as fit, thin, and often with breast implants, and there are those places where the strippers are as follows: "A club like that has fifteen girls there and maybe two or three of them are what I would consider attractive. He commented that the dancers at the lower-tier clubs tend to be out of shape, unhealthy, and dressed in trashy outfits. Trashy outfits? Were strippers, after all..." (Frank, 2002; 207).
