Clearly, the reasons behind United States presence in Iraq are both immediate and deeply rooted within the fundamental existence of those who claim to hate Americas freedom and democracy. Creating a useable value system with regard to natural rights has long been - and continues to be - humanitys ultimate and forthright goal. The concept of a rational society, in which the entire community is greatly influenced by principles its members completely and accept without challenge, has indeed proven to be one of the most powerful standards of contemporary culture and the very basis for the war in Iraq toward the pursuit of its ultimate democratization. The authors illustrate how defining the relationship that exists between political power and international relations is a task that draws its conclusion upon a very fine line. Indeed, while both of these entities have something significant to do with each another, at the same time the significance finds how they each possess their own particular arrangement within the wide and varied scheme of bureaucratic function.
