Essay / Research Paper Abstract

This 5 page report discusses the 1996 novel by Peruvian author Mario Vargas Llosa. The story revolves around the investigation of the disappearance of three men in a remote village in the Andes. Far more factors are at work than simple human crime and the most interesting aspects of the novel are the author’s diversions into the mystical possibilities (and probabilities) presented through the story. No secondary sources.
