The answer here is likely yes - the rate of unemployment in this country is high, and such a plant would be a good one to help spur employment and hopefully economic growth. But with any factory plant, a number of points need to be considered before such a plant is built. There are, in other words, many issues that the countrys team needs to consider before setting up the sneaker factory, particularly based on the experiences of Nike, the worldwide sneaker manufacturer. Nike did not consider many issues before it opened factories in other countries - and several things have caused poor public relations for the shoe manufacturers. First and foremost is the issue of child labor laws. While it was not clear if this was an issue in this particular country (i.e., if children under the age of 16 were permitted to work), this needs to be addressed because depend on it - another country will and is likely to promote poor publicity about it. In many countries, it is a badge of honor for children to work, but this could be a potential problem, particularly if the sneaker companys headquarters is based in a country that bans child labor. But before hiring anyone, make sure the sneaker company is well aware of child labor laws and is in compliance with those laws.
