"Einsteins theories shaped earlier views and continue to shape todays views, and what lies ahead for exploration of the universe." Particle of movement is used as an example. In fact, it is the discovery of these little particles that effectively turns things upside down. Why? If the particles form what people see as objects, it then becomes a case where peoples minds to an extent form the experience. After all, an image is formed in the minds eye and individual perception does come into play. That is the tip of the iceberg of course. The fact that time is questionable--or linear time as most people think of it--creates a situation where the universe is indeed something different than once believed. Einstein did in fact reshape "notions of space and time" as he demonstrated that atoms have to exist ("A Storm," 2005). He also noticed that light was something that behaved like a particular and from there, a very important science equation was born (2005). It is not as if he was the only scientist to think this way, but very few would have so many "breakthroughs" so quickly (2005). Also, if Einstein were never born, scientists do believe that nothing would have been changed ("How would," 2005). In other words, if it was not Einstein, it would have been someone else who came up with a similar theory. Historians of science do compare Einsteins good year to Newtons burst of creativity about 250 years previous to it ("A Storm," 2005). It does seem that Einstein not only created theories that would change the way people think about the universe, but he would also come about his theories as if in a catharsis. He had stumbled onto something and has always been frustrated that he could not accomplish ...
