These prearranged influences manifest through consciousness, encouraging people to react in certain - often-dissenting - ways. Being born with the need for power, some people spend their whole lives asserting that innate desire; it is this quest for improved social, economic, political and cultural status that compels such ethnically troubled nations as South Africa to shun assimilation and choose to dominate over others.
