It has been well established for many years that at least a portion of aggressive behavior stems from personal uncertainty, lack of self-esteem, lack of social skills and an attempt to cover feelings of inferiority with a mask that has the appearance of superiority and dominance over others. The purpose here is to develop a plan to teach social skills with the goal of diffusing aggressive behavior. The paper includes a description of the environment as well as a project plan and goals in terms of Bloom’s taxonomy. Bibliography lists 5 sources.

Students present represent half of a regular education class, selected according to no particular criteria. The other half of the class will undergo the same program; the class is divided so that everyone wishing to speak will have opportunity. The program uses a regular classroom because of its familiarity to the students.
