is little doubt that anabolic steroids have many dangerous side affects and as such they are a highly controversial supplement for athletes as well as potentially hazardous in the field of medical science. However, this does not necessarily mean that they do not possess many positive attributes that are beneficial for patients suffering from one condition or another. The following paper examines how anabolic steroids have a very wide, and positive, use in treating conditions like asthma and other health problems. The paper also focuses on how the medical industry should use steroids more often, not ruling them out because of negative media attention and side affects. Anabolic Steroids and the Medical Profession Anabolic steroids have long been used for various medical conditions. The recent media attention often demonstrates the dangers of using steroids as there are many side affects, especially for athletes who use them to simply become more muscular and more capable at their particular sport. However, despite the many side affects, used properly anabolic steroids are used for conditions where other medications cannot work. As such anabolic steroids serve a very important purpose in the medical field, and in addition, can likely serve in many other area of the medical industry not yet investigated. One of the things that anabolic steroids are commonly used for is that which involves the condition of asthma.
